ABS Quality Evaluations Achieves ISO/IEC 17021:2011 Accreditation by ANAB

ABS Quality Evaluations Inc. has achieved accreditation by ANAB toward ISO/IEC 17021:2011, effective May 16, 2012. The new edition of ISO/IEC 17021 was published on February 1, 2011 and allowed Certification Bodies a two-year period ending February 1, 2013 to transition toward standard updates. The published second addition of the International Standard ISO/IEC 17021 sets new requirements for the auditing of management systems and for auditor competence in order to increase the value of management system certification to public and private sector organizations worldwide.
